7 Days in Barcelona, SPAIN

With an impactful 7-Days students will visit some of Barcelona’s historical locations to discover a colorful history that dates back to Neolithic times. Excursions to the Eixample district, which showcases some of Barcelona's most distinctive Catalan art-nouveau, the Raval district, home to Sants-Montjuïc Hill, an amazing spot to hike or cable-car up and take in the views over the whole of Barcelona. Highlights here include Sagrada Familia, Casa Milà (La Pedrer), Plaça d'Espanya and its Magic Fountain, Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya and the Olympic Stadium.

WCA is known for giving students opportunities to learn about carer choices. An introduction to a thriving global business community with roots in Barcelona and a trip to its Financial District is included.

Depending on the season you select other options may include. a kayak tour in Costa Brava, snow activities in the Pyrenees Mountains or a visit to Virgin of Montserrat Sanctuary.

In this tour students enroll for the World Citizens Pre-Work prior to departure so that they are prepared for international travel and the most customary protocols of Spain. Upon evaluation of the Post-Work assignment, students are issued a Certificate of Completion and are designated WCA Alumni.
